Many of my knives are made from High Carbon steel, so they can corrode if not taken care of.

Here are some simple rules to keep in mind:

  • DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER

  • Rinse and Hand Dry after use

  • Don’t leave water or food on the blade

  • Apply oil to the blade if you intend to store it for a period of time.

  • Soft wood cutting boards are ideal for ALL types of steel. Bamboo, plastic, and synthetic materials should be avoided if possible.
