Many of my knives are made from High Carbon steel, so they can corrode if not taken care of.
Here are some simple rules to keep in mind:
DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER
Rinse and Hand Dry after use
Don’t leave water or food on the blade
Apply oil to the blade if you intend to store it for a period of time.
Soft wood cutting boards are ideal for ALL types of steel. Bamboo, plastic, and synthetic materials should be avoided if possible.
